Hi all, and welcome back.
It’s officially my favourite time of year. It’s warm, it’s sunny, I’m catching a slight tan, and the summer whites are out in full force.
There’s something about the ease of summer dressing that just speaks to me: the flowy, lightweight layers, the texture of linen, silver jewellery, and the simplicity of it all. I tend to reach for the same pieces every summer. I’m a proud outfit repeater, and I feel like I’ve turned it into a bit of a personal style art form.
As much as I love fashion, clothes, and the feeling of wearing a new outfit, I also love the ease of not having to think too much about what I’m wearing. I like to just know. (Does that make sense?) I love a uniform, and in the summer, when the weather is warm, I know I’ll be reaching for some variation of the same formula: flowy trousers, a tank top, white jeans, an oversized shirt, a pair of sandals, and some silver jewellery.
So below are eight outfits that I’m using as inspiration for my own wardrobe and will no doubt be wearing again and again.
